In 2023, Authentic Material inaugurated its factory near Toulouse to increase its production capacities.
Steps for creating a material :
- Need: Together with the client, we define the material specifications, taking into account the supplied material and the intended application.
- Sourcing : As a circular material, the brand sends its by-products to Authentic Material, where they are inspected and codified to ensure confidentiality and traceability.
- Grinding : The stock is reduced to a homogeneous powder with a defined and controlled particle size in our factory. The particle sizes are always sub-millimetric. Our technologies are patented, and our machines are custom-designed.
- Tools: Depending on the project, the piece can be machined from an existing mold, or a custom mold can be designed and manufactured.
- Production: Pressed, heated, and cooled in a mold, the powder transforms into material under heat and pressure conditions specific to each stock.
- Finishings : Molded into a rigid material, PHOENIX is compatible with traditional finishing tools for noble materials.
